C’mon pals…I’m taiwanese too, but the idea of independence…it’s just impossible. The day it happens, we are all gonna die under the attack of chinese missiles…USA can’t protect us for too long. We do not have chance against China, we can’t stand against them…they are too much.

I don’t think China will ever attack Taiwan! It is big enough already and they have their own problems to take care off. Unlike western countries, China has no interest in war except for self-defence. Both side should have their egos under control. You are all from the same roots, the same family. Don’t let other people trick you into war!

Right now, Taiwan is safe. But if China bothers us with their “practice” missile firing, or attempts to invade, we will work for official independence, all will break loose, and a new rebellion shall begin.

i agree about peace between taiwan and china since things have gotten so messy, but just remember the nationalist attacked the communist first. China can’t attack taiwan because america won’t let that happen, america has been protecting taiwan for a long time ,and time heals all wounds

我是中国人，想对某些奋青说，台湾统不统一，与我们到底有什么关系？除了所谓的军事意义，实在想不出第二个普通百姓非要台湾的理由。大家说太多，情绪激动了都造成文字污染。

还有很重要一点，不要自以为是把台湾人当同胞，人家可不把你当同胞。台商放进来，中国本土的民营经济原始积累少了多少。自己花钱去台湾旅游都遭人白眼，中国在台湾问题上不是一般的蠢。
