Typhoon Sinlaku Hammers Taiwan – Storm Chaser Video

I travelled to Ilan in northeastern Taiwan with storm chaser Geoff Mackley to intercept typhoon Sinlaku. The intense northern eyewall passed right over us in the middle of the night on 13th September 2008 where we documented winds up to 130mph and blinding rain.

    As usual, the best typhoon video video comes from you! Those intense rain scenes during the eyewall is especially true in the deep tropics. That is why it is important to experience one of these storms in a tropical island. Again great footage, on HD to boot…
